to go out on TR in July on a Sunday. I qualify so I went out this morning (20 July).

I landed one nice walleye of 24 inches and lost another keeper when it came unbuttoned during the traditional lunge at the boat. The one I landed was on an inside bend flat edge. The escapee was on the outside bend bank. Both were 28 to 30 feet deep.

A tip for walleye learners: The two fish today and all the fish Friday did not strike. They came up on the worm harness and mouthed the bait for quite a while. You must be patient and let this happen. Eventually, the walleye will load your rod and that is when you sweep set the hook.

I usually come down to the rock for 10 days to two weeks every year. So sometimes I dont have a choice but to go out on a saturday or a sunday. Cant stand to waste a day when Im on limited time anyway. I do however like to came down in oct or sept when the crowds thin out.

To the jerk in the white colbalt with red on the side by emerald beach landing Sunday 7am If you know this person, let them know I said hello, as I know that no one that frequents this sight would do this.

The old guy in the little red boat was fishing about 200' from me along by the docks. You and your two other jerks of friends decided it would be fun to run full speed between us about 7am Sunday.

As you approached, I put my hands up, as to show concern as to what you were doing. You had the entire other side of the lake to go around us, but instead went right through us. I could have made a short cast and hit your boat, but decided not too. You almost capsized the old man in his 14' boat.

What got me mad, was the top water bite just started. What got me madder thou was how close you were and the laughing the three of you were doing when I raised my hands.

To intentionally do this showed zero class. You do not deserve to own that colbalt.

Karma will play a role someday. Maybe I will see you and your boat out if gas someday. Better yet a blown engine. . I will be sure to swing by to you real close to say hello as I laugh.

Really stinks when they are out there by 7 AM.

I see that guy in the red boat just about every time I fish in that area.

I fished Sat in the dam area up by point 1,was sitting out off a gravel runout in 40' of water throwing a 3/4oz jig when a pontoon came betweeen me and the point with in less than a cast, and againt my better judgement i let a hard cast rip at the side of his boat. I would have easily hit him with that jig but in my anger and attempt to add something extra to the thump I backlashed my reel, God was stopping me from being stupid I guess. Full plane without care or concern for the water he put over the front of my boat. I know it is my fault for trying to fish in their way but i was not that far off the point, he had 400 yards on the other side of me to go around and I am sure there was an emergency that he was in hurry and had to go right thru there. no courtesy.

Ive said it before I will say it again..... VIDEO IT.... SEND IT TO MDC, AGFC whomever has the ticket book for the area... I am so tempted to make a facebook page just for it. Enough of the same people and the LEO's will be forced to act. It may be the only way to make the lakes safe is by humiliating people and getting LE to act before the media gets ahold of it with proof that LE has been made aware of some of these people repeatedly.
