Johnsfolly Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Nice fish. Good luck to everyone going out soon. I have yet to land an honest 18+" smallie in Missouri. Been stuck on 17.75" as a Missouri best (see picture of last 17.75"). I don't have a boat. So I'm stuck wade fishing most places and I don't hit the bigger rivers.

cwc87 Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Thanks for posting Mitch. This time of year paying attention to areas on our waterways where there is not public access and even areas where outfitters don't access is key to making a good trip an awesome trip!! All about pressure and access.
Al Agnew Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I'm gonna be back in MO next week, and these fish pictures are making me feel like next week can't come soon enough! Have done very little fishing while out here in Montana this time because we've been in major remodel (from h***) mode.
LittleRedFisherman Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Wow, what a Dandy CWC!! It's been a week since I've been, and it's killing me AL! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
cwc87 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Al. I feel for you. I get one day off per week n I'm on the water someplace. I'm in the planning stages for my next trip now( maybe heading your direction). These rains are really helping the fish feel better. Thank you Mother Nature. !
