Feathers and Fins Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Hey Glen, would you consider a person pulling 2 kids under 12 for sure without life vest on 1 on a tube cutting a boat off forcing them to go from full plane to quick stop to avoid hitting the kids on the tube then watch them slingshot the kids over a known marked sandbar with stumps and logs on it and not one person watching the kids Safe or Child Endangerment. Me im all about letting kids play and get hurt just like I did when I was a kid. But certain behavior is endangerment. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
GNSfishing Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 would you actually knowingly be pulling your children through an obstacle course of spikes??? that is basically what these people are doing. one of these days, that gun is going to hit a live round. there is a lot of difference in riding in the back of the pick up around the farm or back yard, and driving with a bunch of kids in the back going down the highway at 70. surely common sense has to come to play sometime. but, i really do not know just how many are out there any longer with common sense, and pulling children through water loaded with treetops just under the surface all over is not using any common sense at all. Plus, when they continue to do so after being warned, they are parents definitely without good judgement. bo I agree....... When the accidents start happening and numbers rise, that's when the government jumps in and tells you what you can and can't do. Bottom line if people would use good old common sense. The government will have less control over your daily lives and the government will be smaller and your life will be freer from control.
MeatintheFreezer Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Come on November! Then they will all be in the wood with guns....... Remember - If at first you DO succeed, try not to act surprised & quit while you're ahead.
merc1997 Bo Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Then they will all be in the wood with guns....... quite true, and that is why i do not deer hunt. bo
Boobie Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 After reading this i can honestly say its nice to live in the city!!!! Wait a minute!!!!I need to go find a hammer so i can hit myself in the head with it....
fishinwrench Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I consider putting a kid on a horse, or giving them flip-flops and taking them to the park "child endangerment", but everyone else thinks it's cute, so.... No I wouldn't pull them behind a boat over submerged timber, even though I learned to ski on the Salt river dodging and ducking rootwads, bank lines and all kinds of assorted hazards while a man with a Falstaff in one hand operated the boat. But do I put a bicycle helmet on them when we ride ? No. Do I make sure they don't laugh during dinner and choke on a carrot ? No. I'm pretty sure my parents wanted me dead.....or maybe they were just idiots that deserved to be jailed and taught to value my safety more.
