Any suggestions for a Yamaha mechanic in the area? I need some minor preventive stuff done and don't want to miss time on the water by driving to fishinwrench.

thx

Wrench will probably thank you. Yes not a Yami fan. Lol

Try Wolfe Boat works. However......since you are far away from Wolfe, is there nothing near Eureaka?

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

Not to my knowledge...I've not used a mechanic since we moved. Bill Vance in Cassville may be the closest, but I don't know if he works on Yamahas...I am thinking maybe Cabela's service might be the answer.

Vance worked on my Yammi.

I'd give Wolfe a call. Cabelas is 2-weeks out min. and you have to get on a list or something like that.

Had my Yammie worked on, as far as routine maintenance, by Bella Vista marine - they are now in Rogers by the way. Very experienced mechanic. Prices were reasonable, but don't know if they can beat Thumbs deal.

Maybe just as far as Wrench for you, but Smith Full Throttle in Farmington/Prairie Grove has been great to me and my Yamaha. Super nice young guy who's working on a lot of very very nice boats.
