kjackson Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Any suggestions for a Yamaha mechanic in the area? I need some minor preventive stuff done and don't want to miss time on the water by driving to fishinwrench. thx
J-Doc Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Wrench will probably thank you. Yes not a Yami fan. Lol Try Wolfe Boat works. However......since you are far away from Wolfe, is there nothing near Eureaka? Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
kjackson Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 Not to my knowledge...I've not used a mechanic since we moved. Bill Vance in Cassville may be the closest, but I don't know if he works on Yamahas...I am thinking maybe Cabela's service might be the answer.
J-Doc Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I'd give Wolfe a call. Cabelas is 2-weeks out min. and you have to get on a list or something like that. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Sore Thumbs Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Send me a pm I have a buddy that used to work as a mechanic at a yamaha dealer. He can help you and will be probably 1/3 cheaper than other shops.
Sore Thumbs Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Wolfe,Cabelas,Mobile Marine and others are all good to deal with.
Quillback Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Had my Yammie worked on, as far as routine maintenance, by Bella Vista marine - they are now in Rogers by the way. Very experienced mechanic. Prices were reasonable, but don't know if they can beat Thumbs deal.
hoglaw Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Maybe just as far as Wrench for you, but Smith Full Throttle in Farmington/Prairie Grove has been great to me and my Yamaha. Super nice young guy who's working on a lot of very very nice boats.
Ron Burgundy Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 What about Bryce White River Marine, maybe he would work on it??.....east of Springdale off of hwy 412. Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
