nathanhooper Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Let me clarify, he did not come into the very spot I was fishing but the general area. Not intrusive at all.
J-Doc Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Well said Nathan. Well said. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Tanderson15 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 I think my willingness to share comes from 15 years of fishing walleye tournaments up north because it sometimes got crowded in certain areas. Boats w/in 25 yards when you are trying to fish an area. It is still with me. I will not net a fish in front of another fishing boat unless I can sneak it in. Sorry that's me. I will give general info but that's it. On another site I gave out more info, but most fish the other 3 big lakes. Really there are only a few areas that produce this time of year consistently.
wc1063 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 It's all good, sometimes people have to keep some secret to themselves, after all they are the ones that put in their time and effort to catch the fish. We should be thankful that they are willing to share some of their info with us!!!!!
Tanderson15 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 The secret. All three on this spinner. To include last wks catch. The other secret they were caught on Beaver.
Tanderson15 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 F&F my stick only goes to 23 so I just guessed 24
Ron Burgundy Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Anytime you can catch that amount of eyes on Beaver, you're doing something right. And the quality shows. This is the norm for Terry, yes KNOWS what he is doing, glad he started posting here.....good job Tanderson! Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
Feathers and Fins Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Terry; You need a bigger stick Teddy wouldn't be happy lol. I really don't worry about posting Doc jumps on me all the time about it but truthfully what I said earlier holds true about 10% catching 90% not. The devil is in the details and I learned many people just wont put the time in to become the devil lol. They go out and think just because they are there they should catch them and I have had people tell me they did what I said to and didn't and if asked there is always something they didn't do. Im just glad your posting and showing people its possible if they would put in the time and effort. Anyone can get lucky and put 1 even 2 in the boat but putting limits in is due to putting in the hard work. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Nice catch, not many folks are doing as well as you are this time of year.

I understand. I would be very wary myself I am sure. I have not had that kind of experience myself, but it would be pointless for anyone to try and follow me. So your saying only a few areas on Beaver produce consistently this time of year, or in general around the country? I'm hoping the area's I caught some in this spring will produce again this fall. Heck, they may be there right now but I just have not tried for them. Locked in on another species right now that I can't seem to shake.
