Short of a very long story, I had a pumpkin and zucchini grow inches away from each other. We ate two zucchini. The first one was perfectly normal. The second on had huge seeds and the inside sort of smelled like pumkin. Is it possible that the cross pollinated?

Either way, it was really good fried with red tators.

Has to be from seed that was cross pollinated, then it can happen, cross pollinization from a pure seed won't matter year one, but save the seeds and next year can be a hybrid.

I don't know about that one Justin. The big seeds inside would be the next generation.

Both are Curcurbita, so they can cross.
