Mizzou/Ark game should be a rivalry game. Needs to be a rivalry game.. II think it would be good for both programs and the fans. They need to call it something and give the winning team something for winning like a goat or pig or something cool. I've already got my ticket to the game, day after Thanksgiving.

A&M is not going to be a bad team, too well coached. Too much talent. You put up 50 at SC and you've done something. A&M +9.5 in that game was probably the lock of the year, too bad I was asleep at the wheel on that one.

Can't wait to see the 2014 version of the Tigers on the field. Lots of questions, but the chance to be very good. As said above, the offensive and defensive lines should be very good if they can avoid a bunch of injuries, and winning always starts with the play in the trenches. Mauk should be fine, although he didn't look good in some of the scrimmages. Running backs should be very good. Loss of DGB is going to hurt the most because he would have drawn double teams and left some of the new receivers with more good opportunities. Still some linebacker and secondary questions.

If they don't have any trouble with their opponent this weekend, who is a darned good team in their class, I'm expecting 9-3 at worst, and at least a chance to win every game on the schedule. They should then win out in the non-conference part of the schedule, beat the teams they should beat in the SEC, and take at least one or two out of their four toughest--USC, Georgia, Florida, and ATM. If they struggle this weekend, I expect 8-4. Anything worse than that would be a huge disappointment.

Well, this has been a weird weekend. Very surprised to see A&M look like they did. South Carolina suddenly doesn't look like a conference title contender, though I wouldn't count them out just yet. UGA looks fantastic though, clearly the favorites in the division. Vandy is the one team in the SEC that just looks attrocius. They are going to have to look very hard to find a conference win this year, even Kentucky looks way out of their league.

Mizzou wasn't sharp today, which you could attribute to overconfidence, a vanilla playbook, and a darned good FCS team with an all-world running back. But still, it wasn't encouraging, especially the way our secondary got bullied by their tall receiving corps at times. I'll take the win but they'll need to improve over the course of the non-conference season to compete for another SEC east title.

Bottom line is that we don't know much more about Missouri than we did this morning, other than they weren't real focused against an opponent that they were regardless able to beat by several touchdowns. At the end of the day, that last part is the only one that counts.

Tigers dug a deep hole before turning it around. Big win for my Tigers.

Well, Hogs 0-line looked good for the first half, nothing new there! The D-line looked good in the first, nothing new there! The secondary D looked horrible, Really nothing new there!! In closing Same team Just bigger more running more dropping and same old loosing!! !! !!

Well at least the Hawgs game was watchable for the first 3 quarters. They might be good enough to win an SEC game or two this year. Defense was butt ugly, especially the secondary.

A lot of offense generated by SEC teams this week, should lead to some interesting games this year.

I know it was a vanilla playbook and all, but I'm worried now about Mizzou. They should have been able to sustain more long drives on those guys, and the O line didn't look like they were blocking well on pass plays. Receivers didn't seem to be getting open and Mauk wasn't finding them when they were open. Secondary did get bullied a bit by the big SDS receivers. Toledo won't be easy and UCF is scary.
