Hoodler I thank I still have one of the newer ones but the older ones were a little longer and not quite as big around. The older one were my all time favorite top water bait.Most of the time it was rip rip pause but sometimes a steady retrieve or let it set 15 sec. and twitch then let set again twitch.

I use a single prop crazy shad, it's super old school but found them for $1.99 at Walmart in the $1 box.

I usually work it like a PopR. Twitch twitch pause

The single prop will allow the bait to walk the dog to an extend, I can't get that side to side action out of a torpedo.
