luckycraft Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Great footage. Is that the way to do it for local geese. Spot and stalk action like antelope. I need my note pad out for early goose in missouri. I can learn a thing or two. Very cool
Feathers and Fins Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 That is me being extremely lazy and proving a point to someone who said you cant get close to the geese on the lake. I had a range finder on them the entire time so I knew exact distance. when they got up they were at 27 and came in and then away. Shooting Heavy Shot #6's they would have been dead had I wanted them. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnP Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Feels good to get out with da black dawg. Haven't seen much to shoot at but a few and there. Have managed to put 15 soaking in a bowl from 3 hunts Just waiting for bacon blankets and the grill.
