Members ttflyman Posted September 28, 2014 Members Posted September 28, 2014 Lost a Thomas and Thomas PA804-3 fly rod and Orvis CFO 123 on the hatchery parking lot around noon on 9-24-14. Reward. 314 255-3692
fishinwrench Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Not to seem like an unsympathetic bunghole.....But HTH do you loose a T&T in the parking lot ? How old are you anyway ? If under 8 or over 80 you get a pass
Ill Trout Bum Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Not an uncommon happening there. A couple of years ago I observed a gentleman drive off from the parking lot with his fly rod on top of the car. It fell off as he drove up the hill and I picked it up. Fortunately for him, I caught up with him at the lodge as he was going to the dining room and was able to return it to him. Scott
jdmidwest Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 My buddy left a nice Orvis one in the tube leaning against the parking stands at Jim's Landing on the Kenai back in 2000. It had been a long and stressful Skilak Lake crossing that day and we were in a hurry to get out because weather was pushing in. fishinwrench Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Good thing hunters don't walk off and leave their guns like that.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 It happened to my buddy last year. First thing I do when done fishing is put my rod away inside the vehicle. Then take off my waders and whatever. Well a beer might get popped open after I put the rod away. Pete
