Not to seem like an unsympathetic bunghole.....But HTH do you loose a T&T in the parking lot ?

How old are you anyway ? If under 8 or over 80 you get a pass :)

Not an uncommon happening there. A couple of years ago I observed a gentleman drive off from the parking lot with his fly rod on top of the car. It fell off as he drove up the hill and I picked it up. Fortunately for him, I caught up with him at the lodge as he was going to the dining room and was able to return it to him.

My buddy left a nice Orvis one in the tube leaning against the parking stands at Jim's Landing on the Kenai back in 2000.

It had been a long and stressful Skilak Lake crossing that day and we were in a hurry to get out because weather was pushing in.

It happened to my buddy last year.

First thing I do when done fishing is put my rod away inside the vehicle.

Then take off my waders and whatever.

Well a beer might get popped open after I put the rod away.
