Dutch Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Have they been reported in Bull Shoals? I saw clusters of mussels on the rocks beside the ramp at Tucker Hollow yesterday. They looked like some of the pics I have seen of Zebras but I saw no sign indicating such.
Quillback Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Yes they are known to be in there. http://www.krzk.com/15079/zebra_mussels_found_in_bull_shoals_lake_and_taneycomo.html
Dutch Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 Thanks. I was pretty sure that was what I was seeing but wanted to check with someone. I'll bet that they will be in all of our lakes pretty soon.
Quillback Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Yeah I agree, I would think they'll be in Table Rock and Beaver before long.
Diamond City Fisher Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 They are alive and well in Diamond City area. Rocks in the swim beach are covered with them.
Old plug Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 If they areall over the swim area then I would not dvisw swimming there. You couldstep on a rock and instantly lasterate you doot in several places. They are coming back in LOZ.
mixermarkb Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Good to see you posting again Old Plug, seems like it's been a minute..
Quillback Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Man, I don't know what "lasterate you doot" means, but is sounds painful.
huntest Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 That computer must be one evil spell checker...
mic Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Man, I don't know what "lasterate you doot" means, but is sounds painful. Does that means you have to wear a cup swimming.
