I don't wade with my DSLR camera anymore. Last time I did it, I kicked up a little splash of water into the barrel of my lens and fried it. John

Ouch that sucks! Sorry to hear that. Well may be not wade, but hike...there is enough room in some areas that you don't have to get in the water.
