ness
It is, I read a lot of good reviews on it and have seen some photos taken with it, so I decided to get one. Wow -- 150 to 600 is quite a range. I hope you'll share some of your results John

stlfisher
Tons of opportunities for photo's down there. Just wade downstream from an access and you will have good pictures this time of year.

I don't wade with my DSLR camera anymore. Last time I did it, I kicked up a little splash of water into the barrel of my lens and fried it. Well may be not wade, but hike...there is enough room in some areas that you don't have to get in the water.
Njardar
I prefer not taking a chance for the camera to get wet. Plus the Tammy has a lot of reach, so wading should not be necessary.
Gavin
Put the camera in a dry box in your canoe. Works well.

You got a tripod?? With the trees turning its a good time to get some blurred water shots and neat backgrounds John
