ness
Do you go there very often? That's an idea!! Ohhhhh Ness??? I was thinking today about buying a loaf of SD bread and making pizza bread. Won't be anywhere close to being the same but thought it sounded good none the less. It's going real good right now. Pm me your address and I'll ship some down there tomorrow. I think it'd make the trip fine. John
bfishn
Didn't you hear about that shipment of dough that went active the other day? I can't dance like I used to.
ness
Lol! I don't think mine's combustible. But who knows--I haven't put a match to it John
jdmidwest
Wood fired pizza has a unique flavor on its on. You can take a cheap pizza and make it good on a wood fire oven. A stone work company that sit up at the home show this year featured a pizza oven and we sampled their wares all weekend. Works best on thin, crispy crusts. ness
My first visit was just a couple weeks ago, but I'll definitely be back. That and Undercliffs up at Tipton are topping my current 'where to eat' list. I like sourdough bread, but never had any that would rank it way above the other good breads. On the other hand, sourdough pancakes are miles above any other 'cakes. +++ Yeah, good bread doesn't have to be sourdough, and sourdough isn't always good. It's two separate things. This sourdough pancake thing sure sounds good! John

It used to be a really great place with decent, not too pricey food and 45 minute wait on a table. It's still neat place, with sucky food that cost waaaay to much. My go to was the Mikes Dam Good Sandwich. And it was dam good. But it ain't worth $10. At one time he had a really good fried baloney sandwich. But it was a hard sell at $8. The quality has gone down as fast as the price has gone up. Just about everybody I know has stopped going there. Too bad because we used to like going there.
