Pour Dennis Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Does anyone know the final results for the Homer Sloan tournament from this past Saturday?
Champ188 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Dennis, Don't know who won but I heard 13 lbs and change got it done. Phillip Stone and partner were 4th with 11 lbs.
buddygr53 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 It took over 15 to Winn they were from Iowa. They had 4 fish. With the biggest over 6
buddygr53 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 My friend and I fished it. We had 12.48 with 6 fish. We had five by 9:30 . Never could cull up. All on the livingston crank baits. After 10 o'clock for us the bite went away. We moved out but never found them. Got our last at 3 out of a brush pile.
Quillback Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 How the heck do some guys from Iowa come down and beat the locals? Not that I'm knocking them, congrats to them for getting a 15 lb. bag.
Sprint21fter Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Interesting, my team partner for other tournaments finished 3rd. 2nd place was 14lbs. He said that there were only 4 limits brought in. They fished from Campbell Point to 39 bridge.
GNSfishing Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 They just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right lure and one big fish and it was a win..... also with a little luck thrown in.....

If all the local boys are just out there slinging deep crankbaits then it's a crapshoot. Is that the best bite going on TR right now ?

buddygr53 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Dont know. When they asked them. They said spinner bait. Asked were they went. They said not sure and just pointed down the lake. As they were from iowa. Sure wish I had that luck. Any way. Congrats to those guys. Good job
