MOPanfisher Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Am considering a fall float down crooked creek, how is water level compared to early june. Weather may shut us out this weekend but sure would like another trip down before too cold. Anyone floated it in the fall, how does fishing compare to earlier.
Ham Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 It is doable at any level, but it puts too much wear and tear on my and my boats below 9.90 on the Kelley Slab guage. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Greasy B Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Action will be little less predictable and low clear water might make the fish a bit tougher than earlier in the season but I've had some great days floating the creek in October. MOPanfisher Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Thats sort of what we expect, catching might be tougher, but fishing will be great.
