Jerry Rapp Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 and that Royal's fans, is a World Series Ticket winner. Enjoy. You deserve it after all these years. I bet even Whitey Herzog is drinking a beer in your honor.
ness Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 It's just unbelievable. This isn't just great for KC, it's great for baseball. I had the Blue Flu and had to leave work early today. Had a repairman show up late in the game, so I paused the DVR. I figured the gas leak took precedence. Finished that up, went inside and turned the game back on. Top of the 8th...then the fireworks started outside. John
Justin Spencer Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Fired up about the Royals, playing great ball just need to get the bats back going for the WS. Would love to see the Cards! Quillback Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 Wow, still letting reality set in, never thought we would see KC in the WS this year. Would love to see them play the Cards, but that is starting to look unlikely.
Quillback Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 ALCS MVP - Lorenzo Cain. Would have been my choice if I had a vote.
mhowerton Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Let's Go Royals!! I started following the Royals in 2002 when I began dating my now wife who is from the KC area. It has been a hard row to hoe. Never thought I would see them in the playoffs, much less the WS. Maybe this will subside all the heckles about my Royals hat by all the Cardinals fans here in a Mountain Home.
ness Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 ALCS MVP - Lorenzo Cain. Would have been my choice if I had a vote. Mine too -- easy. Seems like a good kid, which makes it all that much better. Still kinda don't believe this yet. John
ruthead Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 As a father of 3 boys it's great to see The Royals Winning. The boys have bought numerous teams hats (which i didn't care for) but now will be Royals fans for life. I was 23 in 1985 and the "goosebumps" felt as good last night as they did 29 years ago. Congrats to the fans and players., just finish the job now. I'd love to see us play the Cards but not lookin real good for that. BE ROYAL!
