ness Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Everything's coming together all at once, here at stately ness manor. Bottled 5 gallons of cider and jarred up 4 pints of sauerkraut over the weekend. I've got so many probiotics and other good stuff in my gut, I can digest a whole pizza in 10 minutes: John
BilletHead Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Pure awesomeness right there Ness. Bring cider if we can get a waterfowl hunt going. Trade for sauce. All this fermentation gets me to thinking. I'm not getting older I'm fermenting and getting better with age. Although Mrs. BilletHead might think I'm going sour or going to vinegar. ness Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 Ha! Thanks -- I will definitely do that, BH. John
jdmidwest Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Its a shame all of that waste does not exit in 10 minutes, that's why you are always full of it. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Wayne SW/MO Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 If you would be nice to JD you could probably make some mead! Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
bfishn Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 In my 20s, I had a med major as a room mate. He was one sharp dude with some well-honed smartasseristic skills. After a memorable ritual Sunday breakfast of SD 'cakes, he examined the effects of the digestive process on sourdough at great length. His conclusion was that it would survive the process... ....just sayin'... I can't dance like I used to.
