WHARFRAT Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Hope this cool sunny weekend will stack the crappie up under the docks. Normally this is what I look for when dock shooting. Hope it pans out. @lozcrappie
nomolites Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Good luck. I'm guessing at some point you may be up above the bridge again...I would be! I'm out of ground venison and hope to resolve that situation tomorrow and get back on the water.

WHARFRAT Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 I hope you all got out today. Crappie fishing was very good. A lot of quality fish, compared to yesterday morning. Crappie were stacking both under docks and on brush 10-15' deep. Today I switched from a 2" bait to a 3" bait. Don't know if that had anything to do with my luck. Hope this is a good sign of things to come for you all. Headin out to Napa Valley to test out some grape juice, be back 2nd weekend of next month. Good luck. @lozcrappie
fishinwrench Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Oh Nice! Will you STOP IT! I've got work to do and you are NOT helping me stay focused.
fishinwrench Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Speaking of loading the boat with crappie, check this out. The second and third throws are pretty impressive. Huge 3 Pound Crappie in the Cast Net:
