Fishing has been

great, 5 8lb, fish have been caught in the past 2 weeks, a few 9 pound, two over 10, ( I caught one of these

a few in the 12 lb range, and lots and lots of 3 to 4 pound fish have been caught, been a great weekend so far

Fish was released unharmed

Gotcha. I fish a similar pattern for Whites and smallies but I twist it and let it furl together for a thicker body. It fishes like a mini senko but casts like a wet dishrag. Fun fly to fish.

I wish they made the stuff in Olive. It doesn't take dye very well.

I've got some that's close. Not as moppy but still very soft when you furl it. I'll send you a wad of it this week.

Shannon steamer uses the same material. I call it the tampon fly. It works. 3 bucks for 75 yards.
