If by mediocre you mean garbage then I agree. Most All of what you see today is based on obtaining profits. They are not shows as much as long commercials. It's nice to see when someone is passionate about what they do and want to share it with the world. But it makes a tremendous difference when they are passionate about cinematography and producing a quality product as well.

Guy's name is Donnie Vincent. He's got sponsors / money behind him and produces videos of AK / NWT trips. The footage is great, but you can watch all the videos you want and you'll still be floored once actually up there.
