Gavin Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 They look different down there. Nice catch and in spawn colors.
hoglaw Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Yeah. The water above swinging bridge is no Bueno. We float from cow to sb, and bring a 3 horse to motor through all of that.

Plastic_worm Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Thx everyone. Gonna have to work out a shuttle for future trips. Lots of water to cover, 4 miles, before the fishing gets good if you start st SB and return to SB. Haris122 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Do Brown Trout of equal size fight harder than Rainbows? I've had a few stocker sized ones at Suson Park in St. Louis recently, and it seems like there's a lot more Browns left, than Rainbows, to the point I've kind of forgotten what kind of fights the Rainbows have. Just today I got a 12" brown, and though he wasn't large by any measure, he certainly gave me a good show for longer than I would've expected.I can't recall playing a Rainbow for as long as I had this Brown trout, but that might just have been cause most of them I got to attack the lure closer towards the end of the reeling in.

Yes, IMO Brown trout of equal size fight better than Rainbows. You will get that occassional Rainbow that will really dig in and fight, but most want to roll and thrash in place vs pull hard against you. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Members TheRustyHook Posted May 17, 2015 Members Posted May 17, 2015 we don't get the aerial acrobatics out of the browns, but they dive deep and pull hard! "Whoa there Big Girl" Rusty Hook & Co.
