Just where the bass are going to end up depends on where the food chain goes. i would guess that the bait fish will head for deeper water, especially with the rapid drop.

+1 Time to think about heading to the back of those pockets and coves to the last 40' and go vertical with spoons and grubs.

Do you think this early cold snap will put these fish back to normal seasonal patterns? Seems like they have been behind all year.

Bubba, I'll tell you one thing - if it's as cold Sunday morning as I'm seeing projected; I am NOT running far from Prairie Creek :)

If you hear BANG BANG Sunday your not being shot at, But if I see you and the geese are in the right line I might send an Unagry Bird falling near you lol.

My research shows no such creek on TABLE ROCK. Wrong forum, boys.

I would have killed to be on the lake yesterday as this thing was coming in. I would think maybe it would trigger a big time feeding frenzy as long as the clouds stay around with the wind. I would live or die with a wiggle wart, blade, and jerkbait. Maybe throw a jig around every once in a while.

I was. They bit. It was COLD. I survived.

Actually, this may be a blessing in disguise, as I am now reminded of a question I've meant to ask here....

I know that Beaver is south of Table Rock, but of course Beaver flows in to Table Rock, right?

I've never noticed a pattern on Beaver working the same way on Table Rock or vice versa -

I imagine I'm being too simplistic in my thinking - as I thought that the two would fish more similarly?

I was just giving you guys a hard time. Post where you wish. Glad to have you on the TR channel.

Jolicious, I know of only one major difference in Beaver and Table Rock, and I probably don't have to say what that is, especially since I vowed to close up shop on that subject and heretofore keep Beaver Lake water off the bottom of my boat and out of the livewells and lower unit. I did make that promise on the "other" channel, though.

Regardless, my experience is that factor never seems to bode well for black bass/smallmouth fishing.
