Launched at around 0930, fished some around the Big M area, not much going on there - I don't know why, but lately it has been hard for me to find a bite around there. Went down the lake and fished some of the banks and coves near the mouth of the Kings and up the Kings a bit. Found some fish here and there, ended up with 10 bass, 5 on a Spro McStick and another 5 on a T-rigged tube.

McStick bite was a little funny, fish would hit it as I was working it, only had one on a pause and that was about after a 1/2 second of pause and then the fish grabbed it.

Water temps were from 52 to 54.

Ya those hooks look planted on the outside of the fish. Quill you "Bandit" you. What color really worked?

First one looks like a football with a lure hanging from it! Nice fish, Jeff.

Good looking fish. You were suppose to try out the new warts?

I did try the Ghost PB&J, one 12" bass on it, had another chase it right to the boat.

OK, I will confess - Magic Ghost Orange Craw was the color I was really using.

Figures. The ONE color I don't have.

Magic Ghost Tangerine Craw will work in a pinch. It's not gonna get you as many quality bites as the Magic Ghost Orange Craw, but it's better than sitting at home waiting for the big brown truck to bring your Tackle Warehouse order.
