fishinwrench Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Excellent picture of stone fly. Were there a lot of those out? I'm sure there was a bunch of them clinging to stuff along the bank, but that was the only one that I noticed flying around. I switched to a black nymph of the same size for awhile but it didn't produce. Caught most of mine by swinging a leech, and caught a few on a Y2K bug. brittsnbirds 1
oneshot Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Was down there last Saturday. Park Ranger made couple Guys move closer to the river and quit casting towards the Wooden Bridge. Told me he seen me do it he would give me a Ticket. We was fishing for Goggle Eye. Had an Agent want to write me a Ticket one time on the river for killing a Snapping Turtle but because I was going to eat it he didn't. oneshot
Aggressor1988long Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Nice stringers. Where did you catch all them trout? that was our last year pic, just wanted to share, most of them out of the river. I use one lure, rooster tail, metallic green with a metallic green and silver blade. We were at larrys resort that day.
Aggressor1988long Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 So. Whats the deal, I really want to find out what is up with fishing from the wooden bridge to the river, I was told its catch and release. Did this park ranger wear glasses. Im contacting the mo.dept.of conservation tomorrow and see what the deal is.
NoLuck Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 People it's your responsibility to know the rules before going afield. If there is gray area I think I would be on the phone trying to figure it out. In dealing with any type of law enforcement if you are prepared and know the reqs you have a legit argument. If you don't know for sure then be prepared to have issues. The old saying is "know before you go". On one hand people complain about lack of enforcement and the other they claim about being hassled. I would really like to see some of you people try to do the job they do. It's a thankless job. But a necessary one. If you feel you are being hassled all the time then it may be time for you to look in the mirror and ask if its you that is the problem. bs1827, brittsnbirds and laker67 3
