moguy1973 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Not even going to play a down for Oklahoma...Declared himself eligible for the draft today. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/oklahoma-wr-dorial-green-beckham-to-enter-nfl-draft-173242713.html -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Quillback Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I wonder what round he'll get picked. I'm surprised he didn't play a year at Oklahoma, but maybe he thinks (or has been advised) that he'll go early in the draft.
BATCAB27 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I saw a mock draft a couple weeks ago that projected him in the first 20 picks of round one. Who knows, but I bet someone rolls the dice on him early. I watched a 30 for 30 the other night about a kid that got kicked out of Notre Dame, kicked out of Florida State and played 2 years at Marshall. His name was Randy Moss...just goes to show you that you never know.
Quillback Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Yeah I saw that Randy Moss 30 for 30, good show BTW. If I recall, Moss had some trouble in the NFL, but nothing really serious. Heckuva player for sure.
stlfisher Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 His potential is through the roof. Will be interesting to see who takes a shot on him. I don't think he is a bad kid, but he had a lot of issues at MU that never made the press. Gonna be harder to stay away from that stuff with a bucket full of money. Hopefully, he learned his lesson.
BATCAB27 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 There's a certain team at 1 Arrowhead Dr that is in desperate need of WR help and DGB may be still on the board when they are on the clock. Wouldn't that be something....he screws my fav college team then gets drafted by my fav NFL team
Jerry Rapp Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 he should be in jail. Just my opinion. If any of us who post here did what he has done, we would have no future. countryred 1
ozark trout fisher Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Just a mess for everyone involved. Oklahoma has to regret giving him a chance. Now they get the PR hit without the on-field production. It's a disaster for them.
Flysmallie Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Oklahoma gambled. They took a chance on getting him on the field this year but it did not happen. I don't see how that hurts them. They knew he wouldn't stick around. stlfisher 1
stlfisher Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I agree...no loss for OU. They tried to get him on the field, but they new he was gone after this year...this shouldn't come as a surprise to them.
