This is slightly off topic but when do you all fish the flat wart? I've only got a couple.

That is the one Storm bait that confounded me. Very hard to get one that would run right, even understanding the Storm mystique. I use the deep flat A instead. Cold water. Have caught them in water as cold as 39 degrees on it.

Interesting. Thank you. I'm gonna throw one sometime when I feel like experimenting. I've used the flat a's in the fall at Stockton before with success.

something to note:

I burn the wiggle wart, if it cant stay down at high speed it goes in the trash. (or my brother in laws stocking)

Old or new wart, it must stay down under extreme speed.

The problem with the Koppers HFC, I cant keep them down at high speed. They run good at medium speed, but who cares.

I used to fish the Flat A behind guys chunking a wart, its always on deck.
