grizwilson Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Less can indeed be more. I learned that from Thoreau, when I was maybe sixteen and did not know what more even looked like. Thank you Rick I take that as a complement and inspiration to do better! Terrierman 1 “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
Al Agnew Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 There's more to fishing than just catching fish. If I had to fish nothing but a Ned rig it would drive me totally bananas. And besides, I've proven to my own satisfaction that I can catch about as many BASS, and more big ones, on other lures that are more fun to fish, in the summer at least. Others might really love fishing the Ned rig, but it ain't for me.
Gavin Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 No need to simplify, still plenty of room in my canoe;>)! Having all your rods rigged when you get to the river is a great way to simplify your day. Usually have 4 or 5 rigged & ready. Might have to re rig a few but you always have something ready to cast.
Terrierman Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 If I had to follow anybody's lead except my own, it would drive me totally bananas. Guessing pretty much the same for everyone on here.
