moguy1973 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Or a year subscription for all their extended footage shows is like $30. Has an extra hour or so of behind the scenes stuff. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Guest Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Do you think it's worth the extra $30? What's different?
dtrs5kprs Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Do you think it's worth the extra $30? What's different? Have wondered the same thing. Kind of interested, but on the fence.
moguy1973 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I've watched all of the episodes online except for one which I watched on Outdoors, so I'm not really sure what all they cut out for the TV show but would assume it's a lot of the chit chat they talk about when they are in a penalty, things that are working for them, things that aren't, baits they are using, etc. I split the cost with a friend so it's a pretty good deal, we just both can't be watching online at the same time. BTW, the 3rd Cup round in Maine with Alton Jones and Hackney was pretty good. Makes me really want to go to a primarily small mouth lake where they are stacked up on each other and can catch a fish on every cast if you can find the fish. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Quillback Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Watched the 3rd Oklahoma episode last night, where they fished Fort Gibson. They were catching them pretty good, with several 4-5 lb. fish. Oklahoma has some pretty good bass fishing, but tends to get over looked on the national scene. Anyone know when they filmed those Oklahoma shows? I think it was early fall, but that's just a guess.

I want to say I read the selects were taped late May and the Cup was taped late August/early September. http://garykleinproangler.com/news/geico-selects-klein-knew-what-was-coming/ -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
dtrs5kprs Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 I would have guessed May based on the green trees and the redfin.
moguy1973 Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I just read on the MLF Facebook page that the next Selects rounds will be held somewhere in Arkansas first week of April. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
