Yeah that is TOTALLY different than the current green craw (or more like GOLD CRAW) that Rapala is putting out now. That looks very much like the pre rapala green craw. Nice find Dave. Another thing, what is up with the new wiggle warts that are BPS exclusives like the phantom colors, pbj, etc that they came out with that Hughes designed the paint schemes? The eyes are TOTALLY different and are not "wart" looking like the pre rap's. You know what they look like? Exactly like the Luck E Strike Wart Hog that failed and was pulled from the market due to quality control issues. I never did get to try one but others here did I believe. Reviews were not good.

I caught some fish on the new colors from BPS but didn't get to use them that much. The conditions were not right at the time but they did work a little. The paint schemes are great but still the older warts out fished them ?

Brett...those BPS warts are about as good as you will get in the new version. Tim has been shooting those patterns for years. I don't think the eyes matter much. One of my better paint colors has the eyes at the tail (where they should be).

The eyes don't matter obviously because they are anatomically incorrect to a crayfish. Unless you know of a white river craw species that has eye located in their rectum. Doesn't matter as evidence of the amount of fish caught on TR on WW's. I was just pointing out the fact that they look just like the Luck E Strike Warthogs.

They are not. The eyes do call that to mind though. Did see a pile of those Lucke E Strikes for about $2 a pop yesterday. Pretty terrible bait.

The new BPS versions I have sound feel and sound about like all the other new warts. Usual plastic and rattle complaints. Much better paint.

Don't know about crawdads, but I know plenty of people with eyes in their rectum ---- coz that's where their HEAD is.

Hard to tell if his head is up his rectum or hidden under a turban.

Could it be that they lucky strike copied Tims paint? Or had him design a few colors for them?

Btw the new "old" v38 looks good! I hope they do that with all the colors because the new new paint jobs really suck. They look like crappy cartoon versions of the old paint. Not sure what they were thinking there. I imagine it be "old" paint isn't a special run and we'll start seeing a lot more of it.

The bps exclusive colors look good too imo
