Dutch Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I went last year. They had a lot of different things. Lots of guns and various bait vendors with a couple of cases full of used reels. I wound up getting a Popsnagger.
dtrs5kprs Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I'm looking for something a little more specific. This, again. As in did anyone go, was it worth it, or was it two booths of tackle and a bunch of boats?

Chief Grey Bear Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 This, again. As in did anyone go, was it worth it, or was it two booths of tackle and a bunch of boats? You want specifics but you don't give any yourself. Is it more than 2 booths and some boats? Yes. Are they going to name every vendor and every product they are bringing? No. Is it worth going in my opinion? Most definitely! The money goes to a great cause. Is it worth it for you to go? I have no idea. You don't offer any details yourself. dtrs5kprs Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Chief, Did not mean for that to come off as rude. My apologies. For my part, I had used the link, but links can sometimes fail to tell the whole story. Cause is good, and I like the idea of a local show. We used to have one in IA put on by a local bass club, and it beat any other show around. Sounds like a neat deal.
Chief Grey Bear Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Well its my bad too. I have been feeling a little onery today. On a side point, if anyone does come to the show and doesn't like it, which I don't think will happen, but if you do, you still can have a great day in Springfield as there are some really good local tackle shops and great eats. So all is not lost on this show if you happen to not dig it. So get off of the couch, quit complaining and get out. Bluff-Bassin Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 I went last year. They had a lot of different things. Lots of guns and various bait vendors with a couple of cases full of used reels. I wound up getting a Popsnagger. Thanks for the info. Guess that was what I was curious about. Just didn't want to show up and it was two folding tables worth of samuri swords and salt and pepper shakers haha!

Chief Grey Bear Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Dang it. Now where I am going to sell those swords? There is a great Chinese restaurant on Glenstone that will give you a free buffet for them. But you can also bring in a stray cat or puppy and get the same thing.
