I know there are many posts about these heads but I'm just looking for best location for ordering from. 1/10th ounce or 1/16th ounce, size 1 or 2 hooks? Have some with open hooks but thinking guard would be good for some situations. Thanks

Dave is being modest. His jigs are most excellent. I'm trying to stay out of the way for a little bit and let other folks get some stock, but I will be ordering at least 100.

I can't order anymore jig heads or my wife might accuse me of hoarding them. Lol

I have already been accused of hoarding more than once. You understand my motives and I'll sleep well after an additional hundred are at my house UNLESS I decide to order two hundred.

You all are far too kind. I do however encourage hoarding :secret-laugh: .

I have not put more info up publicly because I didn't want to trample Phil's hospitality more than we all do everyday anyway.

Seems lots of folks are interested so the basics are...

I have 1/16oz and 1/8oz heads, all with a single wire guard. They are collarless heads so you do need superglue to keep the bait rigged tightly against the head.

Colors are brown and green pumpkin. I tend to fish the Mustad more than the Gamakatsu, but both are fine hooks that have been covered in detail in previous threads.

Feel free to ask any Q's on the little rig. It is much more about helping folks catch fish than anything else. Just got tired of the big companies not making the right tool. You are welcome to use the email address below, or pm for more info.

Take care,

Thanks. I'm new to jig pouring. A friend of mine uses guitar string. Do you think that would work? I have a mushroom head mold but will have to modify it to take a guard.
