*T* Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Still some at Sam's Chesterfield, MO, on the rack across from other eyewear, but they are packaged so you can't try them on. That's a no go for me. Need to see how they fit. They look good though. "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Alex Heitman Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 T they usually have some in the vision department where you can get your prescription eye glasses. They had some on a rack at the Manchester location.
fishingaddiction Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 All sold out at the Sams Club in Bentonville. They said some guy came in and bought the whole display with the idea to re-sell them for profit. Why would they let someone do that? denjac 1 Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
denjac Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Sams is a wholesale club. You can buy there for resale. Although it's rare you can find something to make a profit on. gramps50 1 Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. fishingaddiction Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Good point denjac. I suppose at what they had reduced the price too, the guy thought he could make a buck or two. I just wanted to see what they are since I am not familiar with that brand. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Fishrman Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Fayetteville Sams has some. about 80 pair they said.
motoman Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Great find motoman thanks for sharing. The wife is on her way back home with 2 pair. According to the phone conversation one black/water blue the other black/graphite. 2 pair for less than 1/2 the cost at retail. Never wore expensive sunglasses except for prescription so I'm going to guess that I'm spoiled now and won't want to wear cheap sunglasses again. - No problem guys; glad others could take advantage of the savings too. - I've never been an expensive sunglasses kinda guy myself; so I figured at the price these are marked down too. Not a lotta risk. But for the money, I'll have to say; they're quite nice. They look kinda goofy on me; but I'm no Brad Pitt to begin with.;-P - Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and picked up a couple for that price. If I don't like them I guess I could always sell them and get my money back for what I paid for them.- That's what I thought too Alex. If I don't like them; shouldn't be tough to get my money back from them if I'd like.
motoman Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Just out of curiosity; is anybody seeing any green lens or amber (terra) lens of these available at any SAMs? - Ours just had the blue and the black lens; and my crappy eyes seem to prefer the amber lens. (Maybe SAMs only got the blue and black lens?)

(Maybe SAMs only got the blue and black lens?) Just left sams. Bought two pairs. They only had grey lenses- with or withou blue mirror. Really sweet glasses. I bought mine for gifts... though I may end up keeping a pair because they fit my face pretty well. http://flyinthesouth.com/

Don't know what they had originally but when the wife got there at the crack of dawn Monday all they had at the Kirkwood store was matt black frames with either graphite or blue water lenses.
