Is there a big difference in these two??

Yeah -- clam chowder tastes good. :D

This is thin and milky as made. I thought the broth was too bland, and didn't really like the flavor of the oysters.

Char Siu Pork, http://honest-food.net/2015/10/17/char-siu-pork-recipe/

Was on the meal planning today. First time for this dish and we consider it a keeper.  Suggested to be paired with  white rice but we have duck needed to be eaten so we did duck fried rice which could of been a meal in itself. Here is the pork getting the char on coals. We did this and then finished off on the gas grill where I have a bit more control of the temperature.

Yesterday driving down the road I made a good find and scored on some fresh oyster mushrooms and some of them would be going into the rice,

Starting the rice, here is the bok choy and ginger going in the wok. I have never knowingly had bok choy but like it.

Everything in the rice dish finishing up,

The pork cut up with the rest of the sauce and then the finished plate. Enjoyed the meal with a cold one and the chiefs game,

I am not familiar with Hoosier Chuck Roast, but it looks great! Besides Chuck roast, mushroom, and a bechamel sauce, what goes in? Thanks in advance.

Just a couple of yard birds for me.

Going to make Smoked Chicken Salad out of one and probably some enchiladas out of the other.

Hoosier chuck involves a large can of cream of mushroom soup, some mushrooms, onion soup mix,and some stock to thin the can of soup. S&P on the beef, seer then braise. Add some mashed taters and veg, you are done. Bought 2-3 hours in the oven. Covered mostly. Remove the lid to get the gravy right.
