Chief Grey Bear Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 And you know this how? Because of what your left leaning cronies "say" or "print" on some lame butt Internet site. Guess you are going to show us his public arrest record on that? Far as a draft dodger, he was classified as a 1-Y and then later as a 4-F. Didn't say he was my hero. But the choice between him and Michael Moore, laughable....Point being, he was called to die for his country and took the chickenshit way out. But now thumps his chest as a great American. That's is worse than laughable. mixermarkb Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Personally, I think blowhards like Nuge and Moore, and the rest of their buddies on the hard right and hard left are a big part of what's wrong with this country. They blabber on, all day, every day, each trying to say something more obnoxious than the other in a battle for ratings and advertising dollars. I don't think they even believe their own spew. They believe in money and a career without actually having to hold down a real job and contribute in a positive way to society. Their blabber makes it near impossible for the overly image concious knuckleheads in DC to make any compromises with each other at all, leaving our government frozen in the sad state it's been in the last 15 or so years. If all of these "media patriots" gave a crap about our country, or people, they would be actually doing something productive rather than talking all day. Chief Grey Bear 1

Members littlejasper Posted February 19, 2015 Members Posted February 19, 2015 Donated in excess of 2,000 tickets and backstage passes to the military, 2005-2006. Performed for 55,000 Marines, Sailors and their families at Camp Pendleton's Rockin' the Corps on April 1, 2005, along with fellow musicians Destiny’s Child, Godsmack, Kiss, and more. The Performance was also shown as a Big Screen Concert Event in 74 Markets Nationwide. In 2004, participated in a USO Tour of the Persian Gulf with Toby Keith, and toured with Keith in The Big Throwdown Tour, 2005. Not to mention his Kamp for Kids and numerous other contributions. Don't know if that is productive enough or not. But it is a far cry from blabbering and doing nothing. Sounds to me like some liberal blabbering going on right here in Missouri. Just throw all you can as fast as you can and hope it sticks. This is not the flailing mass of society that buys into your "ideology". Get your facts right. If you can't, maybe you can get a job as a White House spokesperson for this current administration. Done with you. Back to fishing.
mixermarkb Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Dude. Those performances, were paid gigs. It's what musicians do. Just because Chris Young played Fourth of July at Ft. Wood last year didn't mean he or any other musician donated his time. I know, I was audio crew chief on that show. USO tours, millitary base concerts, etc etc are all paid gigs, from a combination of tax dollars and corporate sponsors. It's great that tickets were donated, but be aware that donated tickets are a direct tax write off for the artist. I'm not just commenting about Uncle Ted. Musicians that talk about all they do for the millitary when in fact they are getting paid the same rate as any other of their gigs, just sort of personally rubs me the wrong way, no matter their political views. Chief Grey Bear Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Chief Grey Bear , you have to be the most contrary individual I have ever had the pleasure of not meeting! Your point could have been made and discussed in a much more gentlemanly manner. But, as evidenced by several of your previous posts, you fail to understand the concept of "respectfully disagree"? How come you ain't getting all up in littlejasper schit? dblades Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Like most Micheal Moore articles I can't find facts to back his assertions up. Like the 29 GM plants in Mexico, I found three but they have way more in Canada. By the way, how do you get on the "executive pro staff" of all those organizations?
