Members FrozenFingers Posted February 21, 2015 Members Posted February 21, 2015 I recently just bought my first fishing boat. Nothing big and fancy but it will get me on the water. I've always wanted to fish Table Rock from my own boat. Now that i can I have no idea of where to begin. I'm not looking for anyone's secret fishing spots just a good place to start and learn the lake.
Quillback Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 What part of the lake do you plan to fish? If you narrow it down a bit you may get some advice from some of the guys that fish that area. There's a topic in the pinned area that has maps of sections of the lake and some info on where to fish. Here is the link: http://www.ozarkanglers.com/table-rock/maps/ Hunter53 1

dtrs5kprs Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 How unfortunate. There are no bass within 5 miles, either direction, of the 13 bridge. That is some big, rough water at times. Depending on your boat, I would look at staying in the larger creeks in that area...Mill, Fisher, etc. As Jeff noted, let us know when you are planning to be there, and we can get you some rough ideas.
JF660R Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Last summer was my first summer with a boat. Picked up most tips from fishing reports on here. We had decent luck trolling Rapala SR7 / Norman / Flicker Shads. And throwing the Ned rig, Baby brushhog, worms, and Bomber7 at points docks and transitions from gravel to chunk. The Ned rig has far and away been the most productive lure for me personally. I'm going to try not to rely on it so heavily this year and improve my skill with other types of lures. And focus on catching other species. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nocturnal-FabWorx/346443168872812 Like Nocturnal FabWorx on FacebookÂ
