Members Lewisstull Posted February 21, 2015 Members Posted February 21, 2015 Bought this 1972 terry bass boat in the fall. Got it and the trailer for $350. Spent all winter gutting it and completely restoring it. Very happy with it. Should catch a crappie or two and maybe a few bass haha. bs1827, Donna G, BilletHead and 3 others 6
rps Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Looks like a great job! I love to see restorations. Did you take pictures as you went? Did you make any modifications?
Members Lewisstull Posted February 21, 2015 Author Members Posted February 21, 2015 Ya I took some as I went along. Only modifications were I built side walls with storage and the casting deck. I also restored the motor. Here are some more pictures of the whole process. Casey Jeaux 1
dtrs5kprs Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Looks like nice work. My first boat was a 1979 Terry. Caught a lot of fish out of it.
Quillback Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Very nice, always neat to see those older boats restored.

rps Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 In 1972 I was out of college, just home from active duty, and starting law school. My boat was a canvas sling on an inner tube. I had a new wife and about 12 cents. I dreamed what it would be like to have a Terry like that. I have come back to look at your restoration several times. Well done. bs1827 and Lewisstull 2
