npierceuark Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Well done Scott, hopefully the whites won't be too far behind, I'm sick of driving north for any decent fishing, scare em all this way!
Feathers and Fins Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Nick, we did not mark anything from the water plant at Edens to Point 12 like a dead sea in that zone. Point 12 we marked plenty of stripers and they were shallow but with this front it will put them down, But with the weather pattern if we get the rain they are predicting and warming temps I would be willing to bet the white bass will be on the move. It is that time of year we should start getting some really good spring rains and that typically triggers the whites and walleye to head up river. Bad thing is the stripers will also and spawn out decreasing their weights so those 40's will go on the ultimate Jenny Craig and drop the weight in preparation for their summer suits. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 If the stripers actually spawn, there must be a few fry that survive.
Dan the fisherman Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Nice fish fins. beauriful specimen!
Members PMB Posted February 28, 2015 Members Posted February 28, 2015 On the fuse, when the main motor fuse blows I assume the motor will still crank but not start. Is that correct?
Feathers and Fins Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Yes https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Unless the fuse was already undersized, it will likely blow again until the condition that caused an overload is relieved.
Feathers and Fins Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Its corrected. all is good https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Thanks. I was just trying to help. I am glad you found the problem. I know how getting stuck on the lake is, hoping the tm has enough to get back.
Feathers and Fins Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 3 AGM batteries on board and lots of very good friends that were ready willing and able to help. All was good except the fact we had to leave the bite. I was more upset about that than the breakdown, those can be fixed missing out on monster stripers can't you got to get them when they want to play lol. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
