Ketchup, are you talking about the pomme river above PDT lake, or the Pomme arm of Truman ?

Just curious about the population of whites in PDT lake after the big kill several years back.

Fishin, yes Pomme Lake. The whites during the run are plentiful. My daiughter and I on 2 seperate days caught over 100 each during a 4 hour outing. My better half and i caught several this fall of main lake points with rattle traps near Bolivar Landing, on the far south end of the lake. The fishery as a whole on Pomme is great. Ive fished that lake pretty hard the past 15 years.

JF660,

Yes a livewell to keep the fish alive will be a requirement, I have 2 possible 3 boaters so far who stated they dont have a partner, so if you would be interested in fishing out of someones boat, we can make that work.

I will be starting a Facebook page this week for those interested to keep up on the happenings. For those that dont use Facebook, I will be making a website to post the i formation also. I will be back from Dallas tomorrow, and will be putting together the rules, regs, waivers, etc. and will email those interested, and also post the Facebook and website info here, as long as that works with Phil.

From my tinboat days, if you want a livewell, get a large inexpensive ( but not foam) ice chest and a small bilge pump. BPS used to sell a little kit that had the pump, a hose to a section of PVC pipe as an aerator etc. Keeping fresh water in it might be a PITA on a hot day, but a second pump ( one to fill the livewell, one to circulate or pump out the stale water) could solve that. Not perfect, but it would get your boat into a tournament.

They do still sell a kit like you stated Larry. You can find it at Amazon pretty cheap also. As stated, a seperate pump tomkeep water circulating helps a ton, as does adding a little ice from time to time.

J, its a page..Use your search for TinBoats BassClub. Settings are set on public so it should be accessable. If not let me know.
