Talking walleye here. Has the window closed on 20-lb-plus walleye on Bull Shoals? What do you think the current largest walleye in the lake weighs? Where would she live, and what would she eat?

Dreams are a big part of fishing, after all. :)

Didnt someone catch a 19lb eye down there a few years ago during a large bass tourney? Seems I heard about that. Also work with a guy who dives down there said there are some eyes bigger than volkswagons there.......

I don't think a 20 lb walleye is out of the realm of possibility. If I catch it, I'll let you know.

Like the 400 lb gorilla... anywhere and anything she wants.

I can't dance like I used to.

A 20pnd walleye is rare anyplace, age of lake prey cover blah blah blah and it goes on. Is there one or two? There is as good a chance in it than any other lake. But I bet there is many in the 7 to 10lb class and would not be surprised at all to see some in the 15 to 17range.

I would think there would have to be a few. But I would guess they are in the mid to lower lake. To have a fish like that, it would have to live in a spot with lower fishing pressure than the bottle neck of the Upper Lake where lots of walleye fishermen focus their efforts. It would have to have the habit of staying in a very local area. Maybe it has it's own little creek or sunny mud flat it likes to spawn and goes right back to the big water.

Also work with a guy who dives down there said there are some (favorite fish here) bigger than volkswagons there.......

This is the most awesome story in fishing! I love it when I hear about catfish by the dam as big as volkswagons.
