johndarin Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Fishing today was great! The weather was decent but a little cool. The boat ride got a little chilly! We ran from the State Park ramp down to Long Creek and Cricket Creek. Right off the bat we were catching crappie! Kelland caught her first one ever jigging a swimming minnow on a tree right next to the boat! Most of the crappie we caught were on trees that we could see. We did catch a few on trees that we only saw on the graph. We caight them in 13 to 22 feet of water, with the majority in 18 to 19 feet of water. We did catch one that was in about 2 feet of water. The water temp was 48.2 degrees. I did catch one nice white bass close to a big brush pile in about 13 feet of water.
