I am going to be spending a few days at my folks place on Wooly Creek this weekend and was wondering how the white bass and crappie are up that way. Thanks for any advice!

Are you joining the parade of boats? It will be anything but quite with Spoonbill kicking off!

Yea- I've heard crappie are excellent on the flats- everywhere. Can't give spots cause there really aren't any. Find 20 feet of water and drift with the wind with jigs, minnows. Trolling with Flickr Shad.

I will be there Monday and Tuesday also so maybe it will not be too bad during the week.

Those bottom draggers will be there for two weeks, and they will be thick!

I was there yesterday. Counted at least 30 boats between 8am and noon. If it's like that during the week, imagine the weekend. trolled, casted, and vertical jigged minnows. Caught a few fish .....mixed bag of whites n crappie. Water temps 48. It was tough to troll with all the boats. no limits but enough for dinner.
