5bites
You are most welcome. Don't be afraid to let them throw it in mud, wind, etc. It is kind of a do it all little deal. We fished it Monday up here in cold, colored up farm country lakes and caught fish...20mph wind and maybe 1' visibility. Today he caught a 4lb+ drum on it lol. That got his heart racing. Sounds like you got them to throw the Ned, that's good. 4 lb. drum is a lot of fun on the light gear, bet your son had a blast with it.
5bites
Ha he sure did. I told him he had to deduct a fish though. Drum are worth -1. I could tell what he had on was solid and acted funny but for whatever reason drum didn't enter my mind. Probably because I haven't been on grand since October. Still I felt silly when I saw it like a "well duh" slap forehead moment. I don't think I've ever caught one at table rock oddly enough. Not enough poultry feces and kitchen appliances in the water to support them there?
Quillback
I have never caught one on TR either, they must do well in dirty water.
dtrs5kprs
Kind of surprising there aren't some in the Kings.
