Fish24/7
s waver is a good swimbait, catches lots of fish, but I won't be buying any more s wavers, they have some issues imo. I still use them sometimes, I've got 3 the same size and all 3 sink at a diff rate, all 3 act totally diff in the water replaced the stock hooks and split rings too because I do that to almost every bait but I thought the hooks were so -so. everybody has their favs but the s waver is not one of mine I'd rather save up and buy a glidin' gizzard, ABT suicide, or Deps ect. IMO the are the most realistic looking swimbait out there currently and they are hand made and hand tuned/weighted in a test pond before being sent to the buyer. I just don't know that I can pay $100 for a bait but if I were to pull the trigger that would be the one. Wait time to get one is a few months and there is a wait list. I just became friends with High Power Lures on facebook a few weeks ago. The bait monkey as REALLY gotten to me this year. If it gets any worse and I start buying Roman Made's I will have to commit myself to a mental health treatment facility.

Or McSticks. Muddy Water
Fish24/7
I won't hesitate to pay $100 for a hand crafted, hand tuned custom bait like the gliding gizzard. The time and effort put into that bait is well worth the $ imo. It takes many hours sometimes to hand craft and tune a lure from start to finish. I can relate to that. I remember when Bull Shads first came out, had to wait to get those too,lol you'll know the bait monkey is winning when you have $1000 worth of swimbaits in a shoe box. I had to defeat that monkey too
abkeenan
Think about how many Ned heads and jika rigs you could buy for $100. Or McSticks. I know. But I have this swimbait chucking fever right now. I suppose it's due to all the videos I've watched over the course of the winter (lots of Matt @ Tactial Bassin') and now that friggin' Richy sticks a 8.5 with one it's made it even WORSE. I almost wish it were illegal to post what you caught fish on here on OAF so I don't have to get one, two or ten of whatever he or she was using. How many sweet custom molds could you buy if you sold some of your pre rap WW hoard? Two can play this game.
dtrs5kprs
Go for it. I bought a box full of swimmers last winter, threw them for a couple of hours, then picked the Ned back up. Like the ones I have, but time on the lake is too limited for me to fish them enough to build up the needed confidence.

When time is limited it's hard to be borderline musky fishing with big 8"+ swimbaits with one fish every 10,000 casts vs throwing a ned or the likes which gets bit with regularity. Makes it even more difficult when I have someone in the back of the boat with the attention span of a gnat (brother).
Quillback
These look sweet, don't know if I would ever buy one unless they are like $10 or so. http://www.westernbass.com/forum/new-abt-wagtail-swimbait-t94367.html

The S-wavers (if it is a good one) are like taking your pet fish for a walk. Just not a guy who likes to fish for five or six bites, even if they are the so called right ones. I like to feel them pull too much.
