Went for a run down Katy Trail today and found myself staring underneath every group of cedars I passed just in case.

Its a good possiblilty that one may be sprouting around here. But probably all little grays under the leaves.

No trilliums, danderlions, fiddleheads, or other forest indicators yet.

I've never found one before March 28th, or after April 25th in STL. Looks like the makings of a late short season.

Last year we found close to thirty in May down here. Hope to go earlier this year. I going to do s walk through this next week to check after the 70 degree weekend should see some

Well didn't see any morel this last week but dandelions are popping and we got more rain so maybe next week! If temps don't drop again!
