My question is are there boundaries I would assume?? I'm just not sure how far I would like to go on flat water with a coosa.
Coosa Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Me and my brother both fished haha tonka in coosas. But with the water getting muddy just outside the Cove we put in at, we didn't have to far to paddle.
Moswimb8slinger Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 go as far as you dare to catch fish. but there is a designated starting point that you will also weigh-in at, at the end of the day. Only the last event, The Classic on Table Rock, is a "road runner" start, which means you can put in anywhere on the lake but you must be at the weigh-in site at a designated time. in a given tournament day, I might paddle anywhere from 4 to 8 miles, covering water to find fish. I paddled roughly 4.5 miles the day i caught the 8.5lbs largemouth in my Emotion Stealth 11 Angler, 3 weeks ago
fishinwrench Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Are you allowed to get out and wade during the events, or are you supposed to remain in the boat ?
Moswimb8slinger Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Yes, you have to stay in the kayak during the tournament, only leaving for bathroom breaks, emergencies, and you can leave the kayak to retrieve a snagged lure but you cannot make another cast until your back in the kayak. And Life Vests must be worn at all times during Tournament hours
