Bout time I posted something.Been down 12yrs. One of the best 3hrs.this .morning. 9-12,main lake cove,n.side, lots of wind, game on right from the jump, old brown craw wart, bank to 15ft.,approx.30 fish, one short, all others solid 2.5-3.5,go figure.one spot, one nice brown one,3lb.rest LM.one nice kicker! 7.5lbs. relatively accurate scale, almost 23 in. Spawned out, bloody tail, sunken loose belly, totally spent after short fight, had to motor away from shore to hold her in water till recovered, almost one minute.Water temp 56, possible big male? I don't think so though, all fish looked healthy and released.A great morning,10-15yrs.ago would have stayed out, constant trolling motor work while playing fish, standing in high winds, back cramping badly, almost fell out twice.WORTH EVERY SECOND.

Excellent outing Nitro. A lot of good reports coming in lately, but this is a really good one. Congrats on some great fishing.

Good advice on keeping the PFD on while fishing alone Bill. I am the worlds worse for not wearing the PFD after I shut the big motor off.

Born to Fish. Forced to Work.

Great trip. Be careful out there. We really should wear out PFD's when we are alone, especially if we are seasoned anglers, as the majority are here.Tks. for the Super Report.

made a promise to someone when I bought boat,I never take it off, like wearing seat belt

We also had a decent day on Monday 4-6-15. Started out in mill creek and didn't have much luck early. Once the wind picked up we caught a few on points on craw colored warts. Tried a white spinnerbait without any luck. Only boated 6 with 4 keepers. Biggest was around 6 lbs.

ive got back issues myself so the best two things ive done was putting a recessed foot control tray in and investing in good mustang inflatable vests. never take it off and actually in the winter its pretty comfy. i ask who ever fishes with me in cold water conditions to not take the spare i bought off.better safe than sorry. the tray keeps me balanced and my knees and lower back dont bother me near as bad even when i'm on the water over 8hrs.

Great report there Nitro; sounds like a great day!

Sound advice too Bill!..........I get chuckled at and asked a lotta questions like "Can you not swim?!?!" Cause I always wear my inflatable PFD. It's just second nature and plenty comfy........I'd like to still be fishing in another 50+ years. And, I've got little ones at home; I owe it to them (and myself) to make it home after every trip.:-)
