And too; I wished I woulda taken a screen shot of skeet throwing and re-rigging the swimbait I saw. Because, I coulda swore he mentioned something about it being a prototype basstrix. And if my memory is correct; it looked nothing like a traditional basstrix paddle tail with that glossy finish........I recalled him throwing a swimbait that looked more like the discontinued bps lazer eye swimbait in the 6"+ size that Steve Kennedy talks about?(but I could be wrong there)

I watched Velvick modify his when they had the camera on his boat on Saturday during the live coverage. He would put the hook in it and then take his knife an put a slit up the middle of the belly so the hook would penetrate better on the hook set.
