Pepe Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 We got out about 10 but had a slow day fishing between Baxter and CP. The wind and rain were on & off. Tried some of everything. Settled on a mixed (marabou-hair-silicone) and caught some decent LM with it between 12:30 and 2:30. They were tight on cover 12-15' deep. My partner caught about half a dozen Shad on a SB. We got hungry and headed home about 4 PM. Champ188 1

dtrs5kprs Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 There were a bunch of shad up on the banks around Kim City today. Gizzard. Looked for all the world like they were starting to spawn. Seems early, but water was 60ish. Ham 1

Members brierpointer Posted April 14, 2015 Members Posted April 14, 2015 Gizzard shad have been rolling around up on bank like crazy the past three days near the dam area in the backs of coves... so much fish sex, not going to lie, I'm slightly jealous.
