Stump bumper Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 4 Men in a 10ft flat bottom plus alcohol and no life jackets, I am surprised only one is dead. 4 grown men in my Nitro 700 would sink it. My boat says 4 persons or 450lbs when was the last time you saw 4 men who's total weight was 450lbs? I can only guess the weight limit of a 10ft flat bottom?
ness Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 when was the last time you saw 4 men who's total weight was 450lbs? I believe it was sixth grade. nosebleed and J-Doc 2 John

PigSooner Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I friend / mechanic showed me a trick with the lanyard that I use habitually. Simply make a loop with the end and put my throttle hand through the loop. easy on, easy off. Hopefully Ill never find out how well it works....

If you are going to do THAT then it's best to buy/make a Velcro bracelet for the lanyard. Depending on the angle of pull, a simple loop will slide right off your wrist. J-Doc 1
Alex Heitman Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Just clip it right on your life vest and that solves both problems showmebass 1
Guest Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I ordered new life jackets & a new kill switch. Hopefully that will be a good enough reminder for me. You can never be too safe.
